About this course
Anglia Ruskin University offers BSc (Hons) Biomedical Sciences as a 3-year undergraduate Bachelor Degree with Honours programme in Biological Sciences. Based in Peterborough, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £18,400 per year. English-language entry requires IELTS 6 overall or TOEFL iBT 80. Intakes run across 3 windows (Autumn 7 (September), 2026 and Trimester 2 (January), 2027…).

Entry requirements
112 UCAS Tariff points from a minimum of 2 A Levels (or equivalent), including a pass in Biology. 3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English and Maths. If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University. An International Baccalaureate with a minimum of 24 points. IELTS 6.0 with 5.5 in each element. TOEFL iBT with 80 overall and a minimum of 17 in Writing and Listening, 18 in Reading and 20 in Speaking.
