About this course
Abertay University offers MPhil, PhD Pluralism as A Framework and Approach to Counselling and Social and Health Interventions as a 3-year doctoral Ph.D. programme in Counselling. Based in Dundee, the programme is delivered by the university's specialist faculty and welcomes international applicants from across Africa and beyond.
Tuition is £13,750 per year. Intakes run across 4 windows (June, 2026 and February, 2027…).

Entry requirements
The minimum entry requirement for all our research degrees is an Upper Second Class Honours degree (or equivalent) at undergraduate level in an appropriate discipline and/or a Master’s degree. In some cases, appropriate professional or experiential learning may be considered in combination with a lower classification of Honours degree.
